Provincial driver's license numbers

Provincial driver's license numbers refer to the unique identification numbers assigned to individuals' driver's licenses within a specific province or territory. These numbers are used to identify and track driver's license records within the jurisdiction.

The format and structure of provincial driver's license numbers can vary between provinces and territories. Each province or territory has its own system for generating and formatting these numbers. Typically, a driver's license number may include a combination of letters, numbers, and possibly special characters.

To obtain accurate information about the format and structure of provincial driver's license numbers in your specific province or territory, it is recommended to visit the official website of the relevant government agency responsible for driver's licenses. They will provide you with the specific details and guidelines related to driver's license numbers in your jurisdiction.

Instructions for checking a driver's license in Ca Mau
* Method 1: Check directly on the website https://giaypheplaixe.gov.vn/
Step 1: Access the checking link: https://giaypheplaixe.gov.vn/
This is the official electronic information page of the Vietnam Road Administration for checking driver's licenses, under the strict supervision of the Ministry of Transport of Vietnam, ensuring the most accurate and reliable information.
Other websites for checking driver's licenses do not guarantee accuracy. There may even be fraudulent websites created by individuals to deceive those who apply for licenses without the need for an actual examination.

Step 2: Enter complete information
In the 'Driver's License Lookup' section at the top right corner of the screen, enter the following information:
- Type of driver's license: Select the corresponding category for the license you want to verify:
+ PET driver's license (with expiration date): Includes license categories A4, B1, B2, C, D, E, FB2, FC, FD, FE.
+ PET driver's license (without expiration date): Includes license categories A1, A2, and A3.
+ Old driver's license (paper-based): If your license was issued before July 2013, it is an old license made of laminated paper.
- Driver's license number: It is the red number below the line 'GIẤY PHÉP LÁI XE/DRIVER'S LICENSE'. Enter the complete number, including any alphabetic characters if present.
- Date of birth:
+ PET driver's license: Enter the date of birth in the format: yyyyMMdd (year - month - day written together). For example, if you were born on February 19, 1993, enter the number 19930219.
+ Old driver's license: Only enter the year of birth. For example, if you were born on November 20, 1981, enter the number 1981.
- Enter the verification code: Enter the code displayed in the characters provided.

Step 3: Click on the 'Lookup' button to check and verify the information.
The system will provide the following results:
- Case 1: If the displayed information matches the details of the driver's license, including the name, license category, serial number, date of passing the test, place of issuance, date of issuance, and expiration date, then it is a genuine driver's license.
- Case 2: If the returned information does not match your driver's license, then it is a fake driver's license.
- Case 3: The system displays 'No driver's license number found' if the entered license number is not found in the database.

Note: Cases of error or no results
However, you may not always receive accurate results immediately. There are some possible scenarios:
If you enter the date of birth in the wrong format, the website will prompt you to enter it again in the correct format (yyyy/mm/dd).
If you enter the wrong driver's license number, incorrect date of birth, or select the wrong license type, the system will display 'No driver's license number found'. In this case, you need to double-check all the fields and make necessary adjustments if there are any errors.
If the returned results are completely different from your actual driver's license, then it is a fake license.
If you are confident that you have entered the correct information but the system still displays 'No driver's license number found', the possible reasons could be:
- The old driver's license is not yet in the system.
- You have recently passed the driver's license test and the system has not been updated yet.
If you are sure that you participated in the test and did not buy a fake license, it is possible that your information has not been updated in the system for various reasons. In this case, you can contact the relevant Department of Transport where you registered and request them to update your information. Depending on their procedures, they may ask for your name, ID card number, driver's license number, and update it immediately. Alternatively, some places may require you to bring the original documents, ID card, and driver's license for verification.
Additionally, it is also possible that your license is fake (only you would know this). Even if you hired a professional service to create a fake license with guaranteed quality, it still cannot bypass the authenticity check system for driver's licenses.

* Method 2: Checking driver's license via SMS
This method is only applicable for new PET material licenses. Compose a message in the following format:
TC [space] [Driver's license number], then send it to the number 0936.083.578 or 0936.081.778.
For example: TC AS153491 send to 0936.083.578
Message fee: Approximately 500 - 2000 VND.
After sending the message, the system will automatically respond with the requested driver's license information to your phone, including license class, serial number, expiration date, and violation status
