On some computers, Microsoft Office may still display in the English language instead of the language that is selected for Windows. In such a scenario, the user must download the language pack for Microsoft Office and choose the language of their preference.
To install a language pack for Microsoft Office 2019, 2021, and M365, follow the below steps:
- Restart the computer. Do not open any Microsoft Office apps after the restart.
- Open a web browser and browse to https://support.microsoft.com/office/language-accessory-pack-for-office-82ee1236-0f9a-45ee-9c72-05b026ee809f
- In the drop-down box "Which Language do you need," select the preferred language.
- Click the link "Download (64-bit)" version.
- Save the file OfficeSetup.exe to the system drive.
- Double-click OfficeSetup.exe.
- Click Yes when asked to grant the application administrative privileges.
